Prices rise 13.7 percent at Highwood in Franklin MA

The average sales price of units sold in 2013 at the Highwood condominiums in Franklin, MA rose 13.7% from the previous year.  2013 marked the second year in a row that the average sales price rose at Highwood I, II and III.  Days on market (DOM) also improved, declining to 54 days (from 90 days in 2012).  All data in this report was derived from MLS-PIN, the dominant MLS in the Commonwealth.

The map above shows the location of all sales at Highwood during 2013.  2013 marked the first time in years that there were no short sales or bank-owned offerings among the units that changed hands at Highwood.  This is a significant change for the better and was a major factor in rise in the average sales price for the year just ended. The lack of distress sales at Highwood in 2013 confirms the improving local economy and bodes well for 2014’s sales at this popular condominium community in Franklin.
