Facts about Franklin Woods

The subdivision was built in the early 1990s in three phases.  Most of the homes in Franklin Woods were constructed by the same builder and feature similar floor plans.  The majority have 2,000 – 2,300 sq ft living area (excluding finished basement space) and bumped-out family rooms.  However, a number of homes in Franklin Woods were built by different builders and are substantially larger.

The Franklin Woods subdivision has sidewalks, underground utilities and public water and sewer service.

Another wonderful feature of the Franklin Woods neighborhood is the conservation land abutting many of the homes.  There are walking trails with peaceful views of woods, stonewalls and ponds.  In the winter, children can enjoy sledding down a wooded hill in this nature preserve.

The ball fields, playground, dog park and walking trails at the Dacey Community Fields are a short drive away
