Dean College is a private, nonprofit educational institution admitting both men and women. It’s a wonderful asset to Franklin’s Downtown area and the entire Franklin, MA community.
Dean Academy was founded in 1865 by Oliver Dean, a philanthropic act that has lasting beneficial impact on Franklin.
Academic programs
An array of BA and associate degree programs are offered by Dean in its four schools. Dean offers strong programs in theater and dance.
Dean’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies helps advance the careers of working adults by maintaining 10 associate degree and 7 certificate programs in subjects including accounting, business administration and business technology.

Early Childhood Education Department
