Lots of choice in terms of condo features and floor plans
The Highwood condo community comprises approximately 180 townhomes, garden condos, and ranch-style units. It was built in three phases between 1976 and 1986. Each phase has its own association and offers condos with distinctly different architectural styles and features. The associations are Highwood I, Highwood II and Highwood III.
Highwood I
Highwood I is brick construction. It has garden-style condominium units, two-story townhomes and one-level ranch-style units. Condos at Highwood I lack basements; each home offers a supplemental storage area. Throughout Highwood I, heat pump systems supply both central heat and central air conditioning.
Highwood II
Buildings in Highwood II have wood exteriors with a Tudor motif. Highwood II condos offer garden-style units, two-story townhomes and one-level ranch-style units. Homes at Highwood II lack basements. Heating in Highwood II units is by electric baseboard. Air conditioning is provided via individual wall-mounted air conditioners.
Highwood III
Highwood III is the youngest construction at the Highwood condo community. It has vinyl exteriors with a mix of townhomes and some ranch-style units. All homes in Highwood III have electric baseboard heat and wall air conditioners. Unlike other Highwood associations, some units in Highwood III have basements.
