Robust September throughout Massachusetts
Across the Bay State, single family median sale prices and sales volume were up in September, compared to one year ago.
It’s very encouraging to see home sales volume posting double digit gains in September in the broadest measures of the Massachusetts housing market. Single family home sales rose over 15% on MLSPIN across the state, while the Eastern Massachusetts market saw home sales volume spike over 13% compared to September 2014. The rise in September’s median sale price was not as pronounced throughout MA as it was in Franklin, but the median sale price rose 4.6% overall in the Commonwealth and 5.1% in the eastern half of the state.
