The average price of townhouse condos sold at Chestnut Ridge during the first six months of the year rose over 21%, buoyed by the sale of three bedroom units.
Average price rises as a number of three bedroom units change hands
There were five sales of townhomes at Chestnut Ridge during the first half of 2018. Of those five sales, only one was a two bedroom unit.
At $334,900, 11 Magnolia Drive was the lowest priced unit to sell at Chestnut Ridge during the first half of the year.
Sales of 3 bedroom units predominate
The rest of the sales at Chestnut Ridge in the first six months of 2018 were three bedroom units. All had first floor master bedrooms with full baths and additional bedrooms on their second floors. Since three bedroom units sell at higher prices than two bedroom units at this condo community, the average sale price of all units that sold rose significantly.
